US production duo Thoma return with the fantastic new single - ‘Reset’, the second to be taken from their forthcoming album ‘Pictures of Infinity’.

Flexing their synth chops to the maximum - the track was composed on the first day of the new year in 2021, capturing a sense of the openness and return to normalcy brought by the end of the pandemic. Expressing pent-up energy and excitement to go outside and interact with people again after a long period of relative isolation and restrictions. The track was made almost entirely on hardware synths and composed in a very free and improvisational way to capture the feeling of freedom.

It cuts a defiant tone that is undoubtedly experimental and playful, whilst being intrinsically catchy and melodic. Packaged with a more succinct radio edit for those who prefer to get straight to the point, as well as the full album version, both cuts are bound to turn heads. Tastefully mastered by label head Asta Hiroki the single is seemingly primed to attract listeners from both the underground and commercial circles and draw them into Thoma’s intriguing world.

Tristan de Liege and Benjamin Hill have steadily built a reputation with a slew of quality releases on respected labels including: Loci Records, Future Archive Recordings and Audio Network. Winning over a host of tastemakers on the way, including Indie Shuffle, BBC6Music, BBC4, and FIP with their playful explorations through electronica, world music, and leftfield sounds.
