Folded Music is proud to announce the new signing of US production duo - Thoma for an album to be released early 2023.

Tristan de Liege and Benjamin Hill have steadily built a reputation with a slew of quality releases on respected labels including: Loci Records, Future Archive Recordings and Audio Network. Winning over a host of tastemakers on the way including Indie Shuffle, BBC6Music, BBC4, and FIP with their playful explorations through electronica, world music, and leftfield sounds.

New single ‘Edges’ follows in that tradition, with the exploration of new sounds and uncharted territories clearly a priority for them.

Capturing a feeling of intense energy and playfulness of musical creation the track centrally utilizes a vibraphone performance from LA-based percussionist James Waterman, with whom Thoma has collaborated on forthcoming work.

The energy of his vibraphone performance gives the track an organic contrast to the programmed synths and booming guttural beats, as well as driving forward energy that is irresistible for ears and bodies alike.

It’s absolute dancing fuel that will especially appeal to those who enjoy the likes of Bonobo, Clap! Clap!, Anchorsong and other strains of electronica that are truly at home in the club as well as the lounge.
